Pictures at an Exhibition

popupposterfinalNeed some vintage furnishings for that old house?

Check out the indoor flea market in DUMBO, Brooklyn’s cold-weather answer to the popular Fort Greene outdoor market that runs from spring to fall.

Dealers come from afar (New Jersey! Long Island! Philadelphia!) to set up every Saturday and Sunday, 11 to 6, at Front and Washington Streets in DUMBO .

See for yourself (these pictures were taken Saturday, January 31.)

I love the pix. The dealers and their customers are always as much of a curiosity as their wares. Looks like 26th Street reincarnated in Brooklyn.

  2. Becky says:

Who knew!??? This is great. How long has it been going on?

  3. cara says:

This was the fourth weekend – seven more to go before the Flea moves outside again.

Got something to say? Please say it!
