The Insider: Flying Colors in Fort Greene

TODAY’S INSIDER on is a really great little 1850s row house with a front porch that never fails to evoke cries of “I can’t believe this is in New York City!”

Its owner is DK Holland, a graphic designer, and she’s bold with color (except in the black-and-white kitchen, left). To read all about it and see many more photos, go here.

There’s nothing like old homes. :-)

    Hi Cara,
Loved this. I’ve always wondered about this house, it’s a block away from mine. The restaurant Olea is owned (with partners) by the son of another exercise participant at the Y that you know, Lynne Beckett. So it’s familiar and delightful. Thank you.
