WONDERFUL PICTURES……..THE ROPE AROUND THE TRUNK IS AMAZING…….THE FIRST GLANCE SUGGESTED THEY WERE THE ROOTS OF TREE…

  2. Terry says:

Looking good up there. I’m all flower box 24/7.

Beautiful photos, Cara! I can see how the photography class really improved your inherent talent. Love the one of the rope around the tree!!

  4. Jo says:

Beautiful shots, but give me the corner shot of Prospect Pl/Carlton Ave FTW. Quintessential row house Brooklyn (and remind what kind of tree is it that bombs us with that yellow pollen every spring? have a lot of them on Pacific from Hoyt all the way over).

Jo, WTF is FTW? I can’t figure out what you mean by that! I think maybe the yellow pollen is coming from ailanthus trees — around May 15, when they leaf out, there’s a tremendous shower of the stuff all over Brooklyn. Thanks, all, for the compliments:-)
